KATE O’BRIEN (Dublin)  M.A. (HONS.) DRAMATHERAPY

DRAMATHERAPIST/ORGANISATIONAL CONSULTANT

Kate O’Brien qualified as a Dramatherapist in 2004 with a Masters
degree from the National University of Maynooth.  She is a member of the
Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists (IACAT).  In 2000 she
completed the Advanced Course in Group Analysis in St. Vincent’s
University Hospital, Dublin and is an associate member of the Irish Group
Analytic Society (IGAS).

During the past decade Kate has worked as a consultant, providing
training, advisory and support services to individuals and organisations
working in the following sectors:

•        Community Projects
•        Learning Disability
•        Mental Health
•        Acquired Physical Disability
•        Addiction Services

Kate is also a qualified nurse and midwife.  She is co-founder of Phagos
Training, a consultancy organisation providing training in group work and
management skills, team development, role consultation and
organisational development.

She runs her own private therapy practice and is also available to
provide training and advisory services.

ANGELA PALMER (Cork) MA (HONS) DRAMATHERAPY

DRAMATHERAPIST//FAMILY THERAPIST/COUNSELLOR

Angela Palmer qualified as a Dramatherapist in 2004 with a MA degree
from the National University of Maynooth. She is a member of the Irish
Association of Creative Arts Therapists (IACAT)

In 2002, she completed a Higher Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy in
U.C.C  and in 2000 completed her family therapy training overseas. She
also holds a certificate in Social Work.

During the past decade Angela has trained and worked with an
organisation called Connect  which is affiliated with the Tavistock in
London. She also taught  drama abroad for many years.
